Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how TicketsData (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use ticketsdata.live and the TicketsData API (the “Service”). TicketsData is responsible for this information. Contact us at support@ticketsdata.live.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
Account details: your email address, and your name and company if you give them. Your password is stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
Your API key: stored hashed, and encrypted so that you can view it again in your dashboard.
Usage: the requests you make — searches (including the search text), captures and matches — with their time, the marketplaces involved, results, and the IP address they came from. We also record the IP address you signed up from.
Billing: your plan and subscription status, and the customer and subscription identifiers from Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages and handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Messages you send us, for example to support.
Technical data: a sign-in cookie, and the information your browser sends with every request, such as browser type.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to:
create and secure your account and authenticate your API key;
provide the Service, count your requests and enforce plan and rate limits;
take payments and manage your subscription;
send service emails, such as email verification, security and billing messages;
detect and prevent abuse, fraud and attacks, for example by limiting sign-ups and requests per IP address;
answer your questions, and improve and fix the Service;
comply with the law.
4. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (running your account and the Service); our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and improving the Service); compliance with legal obligations (for example, keeping billing records); and your consent where we ask for it.
5. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the dashboard to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
6. How long we keep it
Account details and API keys: while your account exists.
Search records: 35 days.
Capture and match records: while your account exists, so you can see your history and usage.
Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and API keys, encrypted storage of API keys, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email support@ticketsdata.live from the address on your account. We will not treat you differently for using them.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. International transfers
The Service is run in the United States, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or on the website before it takes effect.
